20. Phoenician Goods (28.11.–5.12.)
Introduction
Upcycling vintage watch parts from the 1940s to the 1980s to create quirky and unique jewellery and accessories. These are broken watches given a new life as timeless pieces of wearable art.
I am a Lebanese designer living in Finland and the sole creator behind Phoenician Goods. I source the watch parts from Ukraine to support local sellers there, and I handcraft every item myself in Helsinki.
My creations are true showstoppers – people are always taking photos and telling me they’ve never seen anything like them. They are amazed at how broken watch parts can be transformed into something so beautiful and unique.
