23. CANDAVON

Introduction

I was born in Helsinki and grew up in the capital region, and for over two decades I have lived in Voikkaa, Kuusankoski, by the beautiful shores of the Kymijoki River. Candle design and production have always been at the heart of my work — with nearly thirty years of experience, original models, and craftsmanship refined over time.

My journey through Finland, from south to north and back again, has deeply influenced my work. The landscapes and colours of different regions — from the glowing hues of Lapland’s autumn and the soft pastels of winter frost to the maritime tones of the Åland archipelago — all find their way into my candles.

Each CANDAVON candle is entirely handmade from the finest materials, designed to bring gentle light and atmosphere to both festive occasions and everyday moments.
The entire CANDAVON production proudly carries the Key Flag Symbol, a mark of Finnish quality and craftsmanship.
