Introduction

Sirkkatonttu has decorated Christmas tables since 1975.

The Sirkkatonttu-elf reflects the Finnish Christmas tradition at its best: all things Christmas, peace and good cheer. The elves are an inseparable part of the magic of Christmas and winter. Above all, Santa is seen as Finnish: the only real Santa Claus comes from here, from Korvatunturi. The elves are part of the genuine Finnish craft tradition: the materials come from nature and, thanks to the craftsmanship, no two elves are alike. Skilled hands, wood, wool, linen – these are the ingredients that elves are made of. Over the years, the elf family has become a sought-after collector’s item and is very popular as a gift.

We have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol as a sign of Finnish labour.
