29. Jaana Huhtanen Design

Introduction

Jaana Huhtanen Design has been serving knitwear lovers since 1999. You can find warm woollen socks, cheerfully coloured cotton socks, oversize merino wool socks and scarves or the sock book “Wool socks and shawls”.

Woollen socks for all occasions are available from my hut. There are both thin ones that will fit little shoes and thicker boot socks. My self-designed long beautiful embroidered socks have been very popular. In my book, Woolly Socks and Tassels, you will find a pattern for them if you want to knit them yourself. Also on sale is a small quantity of traditional flower honey, made by bees at my summer place on an old farm in Urjala.

Ecological and sustainability values strongly guide my activities. Made from high quality mulesing-free merino wool and cotton, my products are made to withstand even the toughest use.
