Children’s Morning

The heart of Helsinki’s Christmas, the traditional Tuomaan Markkinat, will once again rise on Senate Square. Tuomaan Markkinat also invites the little ones to join in the Christmas spirit, as a special children’s morning for early childhood education groups will take place on Tuesday, Dec 9 from 9–11 a.m., before the market stalls open.

The programme includes a joyful winter music session by Kallio Music School, a fun elf-themed orienteering activity, and of course a greeting from Santa Claus. The popular wooden horse carousel will also be open in the morning. Please note that there are no indoor spaces at the market, so remember to dress warmly for the children’s morning.

To avoid a queue for the carousel, please choose below what time your group will ride the carousel. Please be in line at the reserved time, thank you!

The winter music sessions start at 9:30 and 10:00. You can choose which session your group will participate in.

The event is free of charge, but advance reservation is required. Registration opens on Nov 4 at 10 a.m.
