I lost something at the market. Where can I ask about lost property?

You can inquire about lost property from the market security staff and by email at tuomaanmarkkinat@eventshelsinki.fi.

Why does the market end before Christmas, on 22 December?

We aim to take into account the wishes of both visitors and vendors when deciding on the duration of the event, and the current length has proven suitable especially for many small entrepreneurs. The vendors at Helsinki Christmas Market are small producers, some of them solo entrepreneurs, for whom participating in the market for more than three weeks is a considerable effort. During Christmas and New Year, visitors in Helsinki also have the opportunity to explore other Christmas markets, such as the Manta Market (5 December–6 January) organised by the operators in the Torikorttelit area.
