Introduction

We craft delightful items using flat-bed knitting machines, including scarves, mittens, gloves, and headwear that bring color and joy to Finland’s long autumns and winters. My inspiration comes from Helsinki’s often gray and gloomy cityscape, where dark coats and muted tones practically crave bold colors, surprising combinations, and striking patterns.

All models are designed in Finland, and our products are mainly made in small batches using hand-operated knitting machines. Each piece combines careful craftsmanship, timeless design, and a distinctive look. I love playing with colors and patterns – resulting in accessories that stand out and bring joy to the wearer year after year.

We use luxuriously soft alpaca wool, a lightweight, warm, and durable natural fiber. Alpaca wool breathes well, feels pleasant against the skin, and retains its qualities for a long time. Our products are responsible, practical, and long-lasting companions for everyday life.

Every knit is built to stand the test of time in both quality and style. They are colorful protests against the grayness: warm handcrafted items that combine local Helsinki design and production, high-quality materials, and a bold, joyful aesthetic.

Andi Alpaca – Why blend into the gray crowd when you can shine in color?
