24. Ruilight

Introduction

Ruilight is a small Finnish design studio creating handcrafted papercut light boxes. All products are locally designed and made in Finland. The layered structure of our lamps draws inspiration from traditional Chinese papercutting art, combining it with modern design and warm ambient lighting.

Each lamp is assembled by layering laser-cut paper or wood-based materials. An integrated warm-toned LED light shines through the layers, bringing to life an enchanting three-dimensional interplay of light and shadow.

Ruilight’s designs are inspired by Finnish and Nordic nature, cityscapes, changing seasons, and quiet everyday moments. Our collection includes Helsinki- and Finland-themed lights, winter landscapes, and special models tailored for the Christmas season.

These lamps make wonderful Christmas gifts, home decor accents, souvenirs, and atmospheric lights for winter celebrations. Customers especially appreciate their cozy glow, delicate layered details, and ability to serve as both charming design pieces and meaningful keepsakes.

We also offer customized, bespoke pieces where a customer’s own photo, favorite place, or memory can be transformed into a layered light sculpture.
